Re: [Avid-L2] Promote to New Blue Titler Pro? SOLVED

Okay, main problem SOLVED!!!! Worked it out while on the phone with Caleb. The problem is that the timeline needs to be in the foreground for the promote to work. If the effects editor is in the foreground, it won't work. Of course the effect editor pops to the foreground when you enter effects mode so...

There are still some titles that won't promote, but New Blue is working with a copy of my sequence. Good on them.

Selecting "promote titles" does nothing here. :-(

Yes - I tested it. In Effects workspace, select Avid title so it is highlighted. Choose Promote . . . from Tools menu (MC 8.5.1). Worked here but of course NewBlue does not work with many fonts so my font was converted to look like Arial!

Subject: [Avid-L2] Promote to New Blue Titler Pro?

Has anyone here had any luck promoting an Avid title to the new Titler Pro? It doesn't work for me and I've gotten no resolution from New BlueFX. :-(
