I think the QT version is positioned as "an accessory" (in terms of marketing) to their main online/hardware products (which, if I recall from last year's NAB is a $17K box). Those boxes are capable of simultaneous inserts on a variety of file flavors (and I think that includes QT, I don't specifically recall). So, I could see a QT-only version of a fix being done for approval before taking the time and manpower to fix the master files, or an alternative for a smaller operation that doesn't need a $17K overkill, IMHO. If you are a one man band, certainly cheaper to take a meal break while exporting, if you can afford the time vs. deadline. And if you could calculate the time/labor you would save in doing that over-- say 10 iterations, it likely justifies the price. Just sayin'.
