The XF AMA plugin is the only one you need to install in order to link C300 footage. You should be able to option-drag the folder containing the C300 structure into a bin, and all clips will link. If this doesn't work, it is likely that the structure isn't preserved.
You can still link individual MXFs with the standard MXF AMA plugin. You don't have to do them one by one, but unless you copy all the MXFs out into a single folder, you will have to do them folder by folder.

I have a drive with several folders. Each folder has the contents of a
card from a Canon C300. I can dig down into the folders and link (AMA)
to individual MXF files but I have been unable to link to the entire
folder. There are way too many clips to make it practical to do one at
a time. I can't find a specific AMA plugin for the C300.The Canon
plugins are for the XF. According to the info on the Avid website MC
6.5 and higher don't use a separate plugin for MXF. I'm on 8.x
Any ideas on how to link to this footage? Many Thanks. --J.B.
