[Avid-L2] All the new Avid Project choices and Color Spaces? I'm getting color spaced out

Here's some info I got from a tektronix engineer:

"Yes BT 709 and Rec 709 are the same thing.
As for Rec 2020 our 4K waveform monitor does have a Rec 2020 setting. It should be just a shift in the colors but without a monitor both waveform and picture it could be fun.
The hard thing to wrap your brain around is that 700mv of green
Is what what I say it is 709, P3, 2020 it is the receiver that puts it out as what it is.
It is almost like using a different Lut but it is a shift in colors not levels.
So you can output 100% of a color and it is 709 or 2020 it is how the receiver uses it"

And also:
"Think about that a green in 709 is about 20 + degrees to the right of 2020 green.
So to get the same tone all the color combinations have to change."

So how does one decide the proper project format now?  I would think it would depend on the final destination.  Netflix wants Rec 709 a.k.a. BT. 709 for their UHD and true 4K deliveries.  So given Green 2020 color space is 20 degrees to the left of Green 709 space I would assume that if I work in an Avid 2020 project that shift would be happening but I'm not on a system I can check this now.  If I'm looking at color bars on my normal NitrsDX feeding my Rec 709 food chain while in a typical Rec 709 project if I then toggle over to one of the 2020 project formats will I see this 20 degree shift on the vector scope?

I understand it's about different math in the matrix of the Y Cb Cr signals and it's up to the receiving device to decode according to it's profile but I'm very fuzzy on when I would want to choose a 2020 project and how differently I will be color correcting.  To work in 2020 project I would think both my scope and my monitor need to be set to 2020 mode.  Can I edit in Rec 709 project to comply with my current monitoring infrastructure and then in the end just toggle the project to 2020 to export a file and Avid will handle the conversion into the new color space.

My brain is starting to hurt bad.  Do I need a different set of color bars for 2020 and P3 etc...

I'd really like this to be simple and I just work in 709 and in the end toggle the project to the delivery format required but I doubt it's that simple.
