Apologies for newb nature of this question but I usually just cut the
clips that assistants supply me ;)
If I'm working in a 25p project which is using some 24 or 30 fps stock
footage, is there a way to force the transcode to use Fluidmotion rather
than blended interpolate? So I AMA link to the 24/30fps stock file then
transcode to DNX at 25 fps. I'm hoping there's a setting I just haven't
found yet (or even some old skool console voodoo). If I transcode it
using the default blended setting then I'm getting unpleasant interfield
blending (duh!) on motion which the broadcaster doesn't like. My
workaround currently is to cut the clip into a sequence, promote the
motion effect, switch to fluidmotion, render and then mixdown the
result. Doesn't feel very Avid doing it that way and is very time consuming.
Any suggestions? Please feel free to spank me with as many RTFMs as you
like as long as there's a solution in there ;)
