That works for the process of doing the phonetic matching in ScriptSync. And then just bringing the Synced Script in to 8.x to edit with,
But, for me, losing PhraseFind is still one of the main reasons that I haven't jumped to 8.x yet. And the fact that I'm on a Unity system still, which isn't supported on 8. Still having a hard time justifying the expense for ISIS. Would love to see a ISIS-Lite that's a little more economical.Jamie BeedyOn Sep 11, 2014, at 10:17 AM, Greg Huson Greg@SecretHQ.com [Avid-L2] <Avid-L2@yahoogroups.com> wrote:has anyone moved on to 8+, but kept ONE machine at 7.04 for script sync? I feel like that would work for us, as long as one assistant station can access the media for syncing. resolution independence is a good reason to move up.
