Scott - I haven't opened it in two years and I didn't ASSESS anything. I said that Mark's assessment meant a lot to me because I didn't have anything to assess.

Exactly Mark. When people say they haven't opened up the program in two years, I'm sorry, but I can't take that assessment with too much seriousness. I doubt many on this list have really dug into X.The interesting part of the story for me, was not as much about X (I have switched all my short form work to X, so I am pretty familiar) but that the software was not Avid. Broadcast is Avid's bread and butter, right? How the hell did they not get their product in here? It should have been Avid and Premiere, right? Sure, maybe the BBC is run by a bunch of knuckleheads, but even so, why would they pick this "non-professional skateboard video to YouTube" software? Maybe this really is a fluff piece and a few hundred units of X sold is not that big a deal. But, if I am at Avid, I am looking at this very very closely. I hope Avid Everywhere is selling really really well (I still own Avid stock!).
