That worked. I exported Quicktime AAF from MC and imported into FCP 7 via Automatic Duck FCP Import. Then exported XML and used Sequence Clip Reporter as I always have.
One very pleasant surprise and mystery! The process passed through a custom notes column from MC as "Log Notes." I wish I understand why it brought that particular custom column and whether I can control this! As it happens, this is an important column to me, but if I can control the columns that export from MC, that would be great!
I'm sad to say that even if FilmScribe worked, this would actually be easier, assuming you have both FCP and SCR on the same machine.
