Too bad I have to keep the bin open, but at least it doesn't have to be visible. Seems like it might save a tiny bit of effort.

Bung them in a bin and if the bin is open, it shows up in the palette, at the bottom.

I know how to save an Effect "template" to a bin, but is there anyway to save defaults to the Effect palette?
