With the 7D you just need to select the individual .mov files, not a folder. Basically that's just a QT import, even though the files are mp4 at heart.

For the 300 you point at the folder level ABOVE the Content folder. To do this, I usually put the CONTENT folder inside another folder on my RAID when transferring from the card OR use SHOTPUTPRO which places it in a numbered folder.
