I am curious if any other users have encountered this new "feature" to the roto shape tool in Avid v7+.
In version 6, when drawing a shape in a paint effect/animatte etc while creating points on your shape you could hold down the mouse and drag out the bezier handle to make smooth corners as you draw giving you great control (rounding edges as you draw). It seems this doesn't behave the same way in version 7 and you are stuck making hard angles and must smooth the bezier curves after the initial shape is drawn.
This has REALLY slowed down my workflow. Can anyone help me with this? Is there a new shortcut or work around? My clicks are doubled because of this.
