[Avid-L2] Re: Activation Quirks and ?s

So it gets more interesting.  I've now validated my system IDs for my symphony systems and even though I see my software activation symphony's ID in the pull down menu after fetching ID's it didn't work.  Then I retyped the same number that was in the select one pulldown menu the box below to use if you don't see the system ID and I get a prompt that the ID is associated with another account do I want to proceed.  I click yes and it goes into CS review state like my dongle symphony already did.  Funny there was confusion a while back on my second symphony so I'm wondering if that has come back in this new version of licensing.

I seem to be getting sketchy response on the 3 upgrades when hitting the submit button.  Sometimes it does nothing and other times I see progress dots.  On my 2nd symphony activation that I had to hand type the number that already existed I didn't get in progress on the submit button when I used the pulldown menu and I also noticed that one of my system ID numbers has now changed in the pulldown menu to a different number that my 1st update was on my media composer only system.  WTF?  I'm sure this sounds more confusing than it really is but I'm getting the impression that once I get an activation and system ID to submit it takes a day or so for Avid to have CS before it's ok'd.

The other thing is the first symphony I tried to activate the support upgrade on doesn't show the link to download the dongle updater file and the second symphony I tried to activate, the one I had to hand type in, doesn't show me any of the "show" menu options so I can't tell it it's the one that will offer the dongle updater file.  It's a good thing I'm not under the gun time wise.  I could use the 30 day trial in a pinch but this is becoming more work than it should be IMHO.
