Looking for info on delivery of JPEG2000 OP1A files in mxf wrapper, and how this relates to AS02. Also, what versions of Media Composer/AMA filters will read and write these formats.
Avid documentation covers opening and saving Sony XDCAM OP1a files, but trying to figure out if I can open and save using JPEG2000 codec mxf wrapped OP1a files. Have a bunch of files from a client that were done on Clipster, and trying to determine if I can work with them in Media Composer w/Symphony v6.5 or v7. I have found that I can export Jpeg 2000 via AS-02, but It creates an open file structure with many parts and sub folders. Looking to create a single mxf wrapped file, which I believe to be OP1a, but I am admittedly green to this workflow.
