[Avid-L2] Re: Fw: BCC 5.0.4 Render issue in 1080i goes away in 1080P?

 

Dirk de Jong from Boris said there must be a difference in the effects processing setting between the "i" and "P" projects. Setting the render processing to 8 bit gets rid of the error. Here's what I found:

I found the render setting set to automatic in both 1080i and 1080P. Then I manually set the effect to 16 and I get the error in both project types. Setting it to 8bit processing and it works in both project types. That makes me think that the "automatic" effects processing setting chooses 16 bit in "i" and 8 bit in "P". Seems strange they would are not symmetrical.
