I have two dongles, one for Symphony 6.5 and one for Media Composer 6.5, which I plan to upgrade to v7 with symphony option. I am curious how this will affect my backward compatibility to some old gear I use on occasion.
Will the new v7 Media Composer with Symphony option still work with older versions of Symphony or Media Composer software? In some cases I have older versions of each running on old equipment that won't run the new versions of software. If not, what's the breakdown? Will the new dongle only work with older versions of Media Composer or Symphony?
Looking for the communities experience on this one, and possibly for Marianna to chime in.
