…nor was it a permissions issue, as i tried writing to several of my internal & external drives and RAIDS, just in case. that has gotten me past the problem in the past fwiw, but not this time.

yeah, you'd think, right? but no. i was able to export "aaf to folder" fine, but the guys on the other end are a bit inexperienced and the embedded aaf has been our "normal mode of communication" so i was leery of throwing them a curve - rightly so, as they were perplexed by the folders..

this has been driving me crazy lately: when i attempt to export an aaf to ANY drive on my system i get this error: Exception: SYS_ERROR, OSErr:-1407. i have had no issues in the past with this, but recently it has plagued me. i can export to a folder fine, but embedded no. my usual process is to have my audio tracks in a seq with no video, all transcoded and consolidated, all fx (none in this seq) rendered. i have an aaf preset with "use marks" "use enabled tracks" and "include all audio tracks" enabled, and have tried it with and without "aaf edit protocol" enabled. export method is "copy all media" and media destination is "embedded in AAF" no AMA clips in seq. searches bring up nothing that is helpful.any ideas?cheersbbruce tovsky
