I had FiOS in my previous residence. I actually contemplated not signing
the lease of my next apartment because it did not have FiOS service, only
Time Warner.
I love FiOS. It is fast and consistent. Cable image quality is superior to
any copper based cable provider here in NYC.
Time Warner does not allow you to have admin access of the router you are
renting from them. If you need something modified you need to contact tech
support level 2.
TW's STB is just horrible, slow and too many dropped frames. I am actually
pondering switching to CableCard instead of STB.
My internet was 50d/25u. I was consistently 55d/35u.
