Re: [Avid-L2] OT: Comcast, Uverse of FIOS?

I have FIOS 75d/35u. The day after I had it bumped up from 15/2, I dragged a 800mb mp4 into a Youtube upload window. I was planning on going to eat while it uploaded and processed. By the time I gave it a title, description and set it unlisted, it was already processing.  About 30-40 seconds for the file to upload.  That same file size 3 days before would have taken close to 10 minutes.

I answer:

We wanted the Hallmark Movie Channel and can no longer get it without moving to a higher tier. We're on the "Prime HD" package tier (the 2nd of 4 tiers available), which includes most of the channels we wanted. We're not into premium channels so we chose a package that did not include HBO, etc. It just so happened that the Prime package DOES include Showtime when bundled with phone service and Internet ("Triple Play"). But the Prime package was changed after we had FIOS for about a year and now, it does not include the Hallmark Movie Channel, MGM HD, and a few others we had when we first signed up.
I still think FIOS is a great system and preferred if you're in an area where it's available.
