And there's this, shots of surfers & Steamer's Lane (in Santa Cruz CA) taken with a DJI Phantom with a GoPro on a gimbal & a FPV (First Person View) transmitter so you can view a proxy image and remotely control camera angle during flight. A couple shots have weirdo time ramps, but some other shots have better framing & movement than you get with "hope for the best" drones. Shot of the pilot & his rig at 3:47:

These people plan to eventually sell their gimbal I think a few hundred dollars. If they don't someone else will.
