[Avid-L2] Avid media archiving solution

Hi,

We've recently switched from FCPro to Avid Media Composer and I'm trying to find a project and media archiving solution. In our old workflow I'd simply backup our FCPro project folder with the ProRes quicktimes, graphics, sfx, etc. to our LTO system.
Since every system will be working on multiple projects, how do people keep track of archiving their MXF media for each project? Is everyone just using multiple numbered folders within each MXF folder on each of their drives?

I've downloaded and tried to buy MediaMover but they don't seem to be in business anymore. No replies to emails and when I enter payment info on their site, it just loops back around to the first step.

I've also looked into MDV, but it's Windows only. http://djfio.com/mdv/

I can't believe Avid hasn't built this capability into their own Media Tool after all these years!

Thanks,
Nathan
