But for most people, matching is very difficult because they can go round in circles trying to figure out exactly WHAT is the difference between the two shots. Is it the red levels in the blacks? Is is yellow highlights in one and not the other? Is the contrast more pronounced in the shadows or the highlights?
With scopes it is instantly identifiable what the difference is between two shots.
