Here's what I've been told (by Marianna):
Upgrade MC 6.5 to MC 7.0 (sans Symphony option) 299 USD
Upgrade MC pre-6.5 to MC 7.0 (sans Symph option) 399 USD
Upgrade SY 6.5 to MC 7.0 (includes Symph option) 299 USD
Upgrade SY pre-6.5 to MC 7.0 (incl Symph option) 399 USD
Got MC 7 and want to add Symph option? 1499 USD
Note that there's also an Interplay version of MC, which is more expensive (add 200 USD when upgrading to v7-Interplay).
Also, if you are NOT yet on 6.5, and upgrade to 6.5 NOW, you pay 299 and get v7 for free when released. So upgrading to 6.5 first NOW saves you 100 bucks.
There is no such thing as Symphony v7. Anyone on MC7 can add the Symphony options for 1499. Anyone CURRENTLY on Symphony, upgrading to MC7, will of course GET those Symph options added to that MC7 for free.
