We'll see legacy FCP for a while yet but with no sign of a serious Mac workstation in the offing a lot of people won't be happy switch to iMacs. And we all know Apple will lock the hardware door on legacy FCP when it suits them.
The limited useless support in legacy FCP also makes it clunky and less cost efficient for fast turnaround work.
It'll hang in a while longer just as DS shops have.....
