So when I'm tired of too many cooks coming up with more notes I'm gonna live markers open. That way I won't have to listen to all the suckers who think they're improving on my perfection.

I didn't have these issues yesterday on the same system. I had about five crashes right after digital cuts in a row. During the crash fest I had the Marker window open. It seemed to be tied to the crashes. After every digital cut I went to the in and out markers I had already placed in the timeline and changed their color from red to green. It was usually during this part of the process the crashes occured. After the 5 or so in a row I started to work with the marker window closed but just double clicked the marker in the record window to open the dialogue box and change the color. Once I did that no more crashes. Anybody notice having the marker window open causing Avid to be unstable. Could it be just the pattern of digital cut then marker color change. Even when I had the marker window open
