Subject: [Avid-L2] Re: Export Help needed really BAD!

Well after trying relentlessly the last 2 days I am still nowhere...I have mixed down both audio and video tracks to a single track each. I have created a new user file, cut in half to 2 hour and again to 1 hour segment and again to half hour segments and cant get anywhere. I have went as far as to take the chunks into a new project and try to render out any way. So far send to sorenson doesnt work, qt ref, save as QT have all errored out in one way or another. Its usually about an hour in to the render time no matter what the duration of the clip is.

I an using MBP 17", 2.4g, i7 quad core, 16gb ram, MC 6.0.1.1. I can't get a qt ref to work, cant get qt movie to work, tried h264, animation, dvcam, hdv720 60, and 4:4:2 and all crash at different points.

Latest error while tryin to export as QT...

[exception: std::exception, what:"Segmentation fault" in thread "CQTExportWorkingThreadBody", at address 0x0]

I am at my wits end with this lack of getting a project out of my system. There has to be a reasonable solution, I truly appreciate the help and look forward to any other suggestions that you all my have. I have tried those that have been listed in the thread so far, and have still had the same results.

I have tried QT self-contained, qt ref, with and without same as source, and multiple codecs all with the same outcome...failed render after about an hour. Any tips or settings would be greatly appreciated. I am on a really tight timeline...as per usual and its not looking so good for me at the moment. Ideally I want a .MOV file in h264, but at this point I just need to get it out as a file and then I can squeeze it. Any help or pointers are appreciated.
