For me, AMA is nothing more then Log and Transfer. Use it to pick which clips or subclips I want, and then transcode to DNx. The house rule is, no AMA media can be cut in to a sequence. Got burned too many times when AMA first came out with people using it with files that weren't on shared storage and then media's offline when the project was moved to another system.

Terry's right though, that's not the way that Avid is selling it.

One of the other issues with Adobe is the lack of Project Sharing and being able to open a sequence from another project. Damn near deal breakers for me. But, I got it for free, with the upgrade of Production Premium, so I'll play around with it a bit.
