Hello Nick,

Here is a quick tip that may work for you.
Place the received MXF file(s) in a new sub folder (say 2) in the MXF folder
in AvidMedia file.
Launch Avid and open a project
Avid builds the data base and adds an index file in the new MXF folder
Create a new bin (empty at the moment).
Drag the MMOB.mdb index file from the open MXF file from the desktop to the
empty bin in the Avid project.
Bam!
The bin will be populated with the clips from the MXF media folder.
