RE: [Avid-L2] Any good (cheap) playback options for multi-screen (multi-channel) work?

Michael

I have the very thing here http://goo.gl/jBLFl but it looks like you
will need to be on SL as it hasn't been updated for a while.

It is free and does exactly what you require so give it a go.

Subject: [Avid-L2] Any good (cheap) playback options for multi-screen
(multi-channel) work?

I'm working on a 3-channel installation-type piece -- using multiple
tracks with PIPs to build the edit. Playing this out on a single
monitor is pretty underwhelming due to tiny screen sizes when there's 3
images arrayed horizontally on 1 screen.

Since I'm working on a Mac that's capable of driving 3 separate
monitors, I wonder if it's possible to output each channel as a separate

quicktime, and do a synchronized playback of all 3 quicktimes,
displaying each on a separate monitor. Does anyone know of software
that would be able to do this kind of thing? Or other ways arrive at
the same end?

Thanks,
--Michael
