[Avid-L2] Any Panasonic AG AF101 Import Issues I Should Know About?

 

Morning Everyone,

A potential client is shooting a job on the Panasonic AG AF101 soon, and has suggested to me that there are known problems surrounding the import of 'spanned' clips. He reports that the first clip imports fine, but the spanned clips that follow, don't.

I'm running MC 5, and I've got the application that converts AVCHD footage to P2. Is that the best/speediest way to get the footage into Avid? And I'm wondering, are there any other 'gotchas' I should look out for?

I've never worked with footage from the camera, so I'd be very grateful for any wisdom from The Team!
