[Avid-L2] Re: AMA sequence export to QT fail

 

Not disagreeing with you but IIRC with FCP7 and earlier it wasn't uncommon to have to export a file of your timeline and then use that to output. That's pretty similar to making a mixdown. As ama is a step into FCP7 like media access and lack of management it seems to also come with some of the same baggage FCP had/has. The most disconcerting thing I've read is that even after transcoding/consolidate to real Avid media some people have still had to use the mixdown approach. That's ucky.
