Direct X, Xbox, Windows 95, Internet Explorer, FAT 32, technology
related to smartphones, etc.

People tend to undervalue MS contribution to the computer industry
because they are the "Big Bad Wolf" but they have done as much to
computing as any of the Silicone Valley companies.
You may hate their products but many of them contributed to computers
mass appeal and affordability.
