And yet could it not be said that Jobs DID invent something new; could it not be said that he did, in fact, invent a very specfiic and paradigm-shifting ethos? Could it not be said that this ethos became a way of regarding technology that fundamentally changed not just our relationship with that technology, but with each other, as well?
