There was a story that Jonathan Brandmeier told about this. He is a Chicago DJ that the networks decided to give a network show to for a short time. Brandmeier said that he understood this rule of "give them something glaring to cut out" and they would do that in every show.... but then the network didn't change ANYTHING and the glaring thing was left IN! So be careful.
