Subject: [Avid-L2] Avid Users Group meeting London UK at VET

Following on from requests to re-start the London UK user group.

VET is pleased to host a fresh start to these meetings.

Wednesday 10th August starting at 7pm. At our Hoxton SQ address (VET Ltd, 3rd Floor, 2-4 Hoxton SQ, London N1 6US)

I'll post back with more details of what the evening will offer but initially VET will do a short presentation/demo of Media Composer V5.5 and some tips and techniques. Hopefully at least one other short demo/presentation as well.

I'm contacting other London based suppliers and hope one of those will be able to attend and have some input.

Initially this will be a fairly informal gathering with some beers and discussions on Avid of course. The impact of FCP-X and FCP and anything else that's topical.

A chance to meet other London based Avid editors and catch up on how Posts working for them.

We can decide at that meeting on how we want future meetings to be structured.

If your interested let me know so we have some idea of numbers (20-30) is about all we can manage!
