on a side note, you got an interesting point.
The Traditional Raffle. (I remember one over here, a Dom DeLouise lookalike,
totally un-european. I went out to smoke with Andreas Kiel., as i hate this
cheap stuff)
I wonder (DISCLAIMER, IF IT IS ALL TRUE) if Apple would let that continue.
That would be something 'non apple style'.....

Subject: [Avid-L2] Re: Hullfish reports on rumored FCP debut at NAB...
If the rumors are true I wonder if it's cheaper for Apple to buy out the
Swap meet than pay for a booth at NAB. I'm guessing it's cheaper to buy the
swap meet but I'm not up on what a booth costs on the exhibition floor. I'm
curious why people are so compelled to pay money to see sales pitches at the
swap meet. Isn't that what the exhibition floor is for? It looks like the
admission price gives two raffle tickets but you can buy more so maybe it's
the gambling excitement. Maybe I just underestimate the Fan Boy effect of
watching projects done on FCP.

If you want to donate to Red Cross quake relief, you can do so through your cell phone. Text redcross to 90999 to make a $10 donation. It will be on your next cell bill.
