From what I've read in a variety of places it seems that damage isn't a big
factor for most of the manufacturers, but rather power and logistics. And
commentators have said that Japan has very efficient systems and means for
restoring core infrastructure. We'll see I guess... But I certainly think
some of the panic is probably unfounded.
That said, it wouldn't be a bad idea to grab some spare tapestock if you can
I guess.
