Avid includes most of the AMA plug-ins, but they do have to be installed separately. Some manufacturers (so far only Canon XF that I know of) request that you download the plug-in from them. I assume this is in order to create an 'SDK' -type environment for Avid AMA plug-ins, where camera manufacturers create their own plug-ins. In the long run, probably a good idea, but confusing at first.

Also, Script Sync and Phrase Find are separate installations, and are controlled by a new license management program in the Avid utilities folder called 'Avid License Control.'

Kinda funky, but easy enough. Be ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN to run Avid uninstaller before upgrading, by the way.
