[Avid-L2] Re: Script Sync backward compatibility

 

What I mean is if you have a script that was analyzed on an earlier system with script sync that script will still function on the 5.5.1 mcsoft. Unlike phrasefind, which according to a recent demo I saw, requires each system to index the media locally even if it is sharing a project over a san. Legacy "scripts" still work on the latest mcsoft. You are correct without the option you cannot run script sync on 5.5.1 but if you have an older system you can run it there and use it on the new software.
