[Avid-L2] AMA Problem

 

I'm now on my first job that requires AMA. Footage was shot on 5D and Arri
Alexa.
I link to AMA and see the files.
I have to transcode them to the ISIS server and several of them come back with
the error

message
 "Failed to get the number of contiguous bites from the AMA plugin"
Now I can import them as individual files but this doesn't preserve the original
timecode and will make it very difficult to sync the separate audio files.
Any ideas why this error is happening and/or how to get by it?
