We're using Vista 64 right now and it's working nicely. Win7 has been qualified by Avid, but you may not be able to use it depending on your storage. We are on Unity v.4.2, and the connection manager for Win7 only works with v5.x. We had to roll our OS back to Vista in order to connect with our Unity.
