Hi there,
That's an interesting thought. I had a problem making an EDL from v5 and I
had to break the timeline down into 2 parts the first was about 36 mins.
Each part worked by themselves but I couldn't get the whole sequence to work
in one go..

The issue is not video mixdown. I have spent the afternoon doing tests of
both the transcoded sequence and video mixdown seq with similar results.
The issue appears to be the length of the sequence. Does MC5 have a new
feature whereby you can't export a sequence longer than about 36 minutes?
The 49 min export crashed and the 42 minute export crashed but 36 and
smaller exported.
I would be stunned if this were what's going on but all I can figure right
now.

there should be no AMA media in the sequence and yet if I try a QT Reference
I get a dialogue box saying can't export with AMA media.
