[Avid-L2] Best Fix for Fluorescent Flicker / Color Change?

I am stuck with a must-use interview that has a faulty fluorescent causing a slightly warmer band to move up the screen every 30 frames or so. Desaturating doesn't help--in fact the change in gray moving up the screen is more noticeable.

John (Moore) recommended Flicker Fix which was given a thumbs up in 2006 by Terry (I did a search of Avid-L),but when I asked 3Prong for a demo, Michele Yamazaki recommended Boris Continuum Complete or GenArts Sapphire, but she wasn't sure. Both those are expensive and resource-heavy, so I am leery of investing in those unless I can see a real advantage.

I am working with MC Soft 3.5.1 and Boris AVX 2.0 plug-ins. Thank you for any experiences and knowledge you are able to share.
