[Avid-L2] Apple Prores Decoder 1.0 for Windows?

Just successfully downloaded the Window QT Decoder 1.0 for windows and was able to take a prores 422 QT I created from a Sorenson compressed video using QT Pro and import it into Avid on a windows sp Avid MCsoft 3.1.2.  The Decoder is dated August 28th, 2008 on the download page.  Given the date I doubt this will work for ProRes 444 or ProRes LT but I don't have any media to check.  Does anybody know if the Windows 1.0 prores for Windows will work with the newer versions of Prores?  The download page says the system requirements are QT 7.5 or higher.  Fortunately the system I was on already had QT 7.5 and according to the Avid QT version matrix 3.1.2 wants QT 7.5.5.  If the 1.0 Windows decoder doesn't handle prores 444 or LT is there a component that can be added to QT 7.5 that would support the new versions?  If not it seems there is now way to handle 444 or LT on older Avid systems.
