Currently the only approved antivirus seems to be Symantec endpoint, but
running with Autoprotect disabled. With Vista 64 the option has been removed
that allows you to manually start a scan of say a USB stick, on XP32 if you
right click on a folder there is a virus scan option. So if you run with
autoprotect off there is no easy way to do a virus scan on removable media.
All the Symantec info really says that you need to be running with
Autoprotect on however that isn't Avid's recommendation
What are people doing about this?
Thanks
