[Avid-L2] Re: OT: Hum on export from FCP

Not necessarily. It could just be a ground loop on the monitoring for the Mac outs that you're not hearing when monitoring via the capture card outs. If you import the file back into FCP and play it in the viewer, does it still hum? If not, then it's a problem with your audio monitoring setup for the Mac side. If it does still hum, then I'm stumped.
