[Avid-L2] Proxy for EX-1

I have some material recorded on XDCAM EX-1. The camera does not generate
proxies, but I wanted to know if there's any way to generate those proxyes
outside the camera so I can make offline with proxies and then relink to
full res.
Is this possible or there's no proxy option for EX-1?
I want to avoid capturing everything and transcoding inside Avid.
