material every day-
I'm attempting to mount a couple of hard drives that are made up of p2
material- one folder, for example, shows 9 clips. But when I mount it
AMA, it shows only 8. Another folder shows 4 clips. When I mount it
AMA, it shows only 3 clips - and one of them is 'media offline.'
If I go to FCP, and open the folders using Log and Transfer, all the
clips show up.
Is there something I can do to force Avid to see the clips it's
ignoring? I'm assuming this is some kind of file structure problem
on the drive containing P2. I haven't tested every single folder to
see how prevelant the problem is - since I already know I need the
clips avid is 'ignoring.' I've already tried turning of AMA
management and 'importing' the clip data - with the same missing-clip
results.
Any suggestions?
