[Avid-L2] AAF Audio Export to Pro Tools w/AMA

Does anyone know how to export sequences built from AMA clips as aaf's so that when they're imported back to Pro Tools the audio tracks have as much handle length as the original audio clips that were used in the Avid sequence prior to the export?
This for an XDCAM EX workflow, using AMA yellow clips directly in the sequence--no consolidation or transcoding on ingest.  The only way we've been able to get it to work export using the "consolidate/embedded in file" option, where you have to specify handle lengths.  But Avid seems to choke if the handle length is larger than it expects for any individual
clip.  If you don't use AMA you can use the copy all media function and that solves the problem, but our workflow demands use of AMA directly.
