I think the best thing to do would be to get in touch with your local
Sony rep and see if they have a person on staff who can help. They do in

Help please!

One of my engineers accidentally deleted the contents of an XDCAM disc
over FTP with Filezilla. I'm hoping that the media is still there and
just the table of contents directory has been altered. Has anyone had
any success recovering media from an XDCAM disc that's had its content
deleted? No new recording has taken place.

No, the write-protect tab was not engaged and obviously should have
been.

Thank you for any advice.
