Drive still affect overall performance speed when using ROCKETCINE-X. In
my tests for the same files on the same system, Apple ProRes transcodes
50% slower than the equivalent Avid DNxHD. Or DNxHD transcodes 30%
faster - One correction for Job; It is REDCINE-X that creates a sinbgle
file of multiple clips since it creates a timeline for screening.
ROCKETCINE-X creates individual files. It is RED's plans to incorporate
ROCKETCINE-X functionality into REDCINE-X although I far prefer the UI
of ROCKETCINE-X.
